The use of this website assumes the acceptance of these terms and conditions.

By accessing and using this site, any person, acting on your personal name or as a representative of another entity, acknowledges the awareness, understanding and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and the Data Protection Policy.

Access to the content of the website www.electromedica.com assumes the knowledge of the legislation in force regarding medical devices, namely the discipline established in articles 45 and 46 of the Portuguese “Decreto-Lei nº 145/2009” of 17th June.

The Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy Policy may be changed at any time and without prior notice by decision of Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda and/or Epjmédica – Produtos Médicos e Hospitalares Lda, herein referred to collectively as "companies."

It is considered that the changes take effect from the moment they are published on the website. Your access to and use of the site after the changes will be considered a clear and unequivocal sign that you have read, understood and accepted the changed Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

These general conditions of sale are applicable to all products sold on the website by the companies.

1. Acceptance of the Registry

All records are validated automatically.

The companies reserve the right to reject and/or cancel any registration without prior notice.

The registration data is stored for the required period or until the user exercise one of the rights provided for in the Data Protection Policy.

2. Product Availability

All items shown on www.electromedica.com are available for order while in stock or while the article is being manufactured.

If an ordered article does not exist in stock of the companies or suppliers or is no longer produced by the manufacturer, the customer will be informed of this situation by e-mail, and no liability can be assigned to the companies.

3. Catalogs

The catalogs available on www.electromedica.com are the property of the brands or companies, therefore no image, technical data or other information contained therein must be reproduced without the authorization of the brand and/or the companies.

The information conveyed in the catalogs of the marks is the property of those same brands, it is not provided by the companies and is not therefore binding on them.

The catalogs are valid until a new version is published.

4. Prices

All prices quoted include the value of VAT at the legal rate in force.

The shown prices always refer to the unit of sale of the article.

The companies reserve the right at any time to change the prices of the articles, campaigns in force and shipping costs.

5. Orders

By placing an order, the user acknowledges that he has read, understood and accepted, without reservation, the present general conditions of sale.

After confirmation of payment by the companies, the order will be processed and ready for shipment within a maximum of 24 working hours.

The companies will not be able to guarantee the availability of the articles until the beginning of the processing of the order.

6. Payment Conditions

Payment must be made through bank transfer or deposit, to the IBAN or account indicated on the website.

Payment must be made within 3 (three) days, otherwise the order will be canceled.

To facilitate the start of the order processing, the proof of transfer or deposit should be sent to the email geral@electromedica.com.

7. Terms of Delivery

The estimated delivery time of our products in stock is 48 to 72 hours.

For the units to be imported the delivery time varies between 10 to 45 business days.

The companies can not be held liable for delays or failure to supply the products when this is due to cases of force majeure or unforeseeable events and for which no act of this nature has been contributed and also in situations of official determination, strike, interruption in transport, distribution difficulties or shortages of products.

If any nonconformity be detected in the delivery of the order, it must be mentioned on the transport guide or, if necessary, returned at the time of delivery.

8. Transportation

The transportation and delivery of the orders is made by the carrier, with the cost of transportation being borne by the customer.

9. Warranties

The equipment provided by the sellers has a guarantee of good operation for a period of two 2 (two) years.

The warranty period starts on the invoice date.

Warranty rights are excluded from cables, electrodes, single use material and other consumables that suffer from natural wear or are subject to misuse.

For batteries should be respected the manufacturer's warranty, if any.

The travel/transportation required should be held by the customer, including return costs.

In order to benefit from the warranty, the customer must keep the invoice as proof of purchase.

10. Returns and Goods Complaints

Buyers through the website are entitled to free termination of the contract, within 14 days of purchase, under the terms and conditions set forth in the Portuguese “Decreto-Lei nº 24/2014” of February 14.

The costs of sending the returned articles must be hold by the client, unless there is damage evidence in the material of the responsibility of the companies.

Won’t be accepted returns of articles:

• • customized (color, size, or other customizable features);  

• • manufactured and/or made available according to customer's specifications; 

• • about to expiring; 

• • for single use and sterilized, unless the possibility of return is mentioned in the product.
